ENERGY SYSTEMS

The Teaford Co. designs and manufactures biomass energy and drying systems for the forest products and agricultural industries. These biomass energy systems include biomass combustion systems with a reciprocating step grate and large lower gasification chamber and adequately sized upper and secondary chambers to allow for excellent combustion efficiency. The Teaford biomass burner can be combined with superheated or saturated steam boilers, thermal oil heaters and direct fired energy systems for process dryers such as rotary dryers, lumber drykilns and other drying systems.  The Teaford energy and drying systems can be used in pellet plants, OSB facilities, MDF/HDF facilities, particleboard plants, dimensional lumber plants, cogeneration plants and other biomass combustion and drying processes.
