The biomass fired boilers are typically packaged with Teaford’s reciprocating grate, which can fire wet biomass fuel. The boilers can also be fired with dry fuel through a suspension burner. The Teaford Company can offer a turnkey cogeneration plant with engineering design to in house equipment fabrication to installation. Equipment designed and fabricated by The Teaford Company for cogeneration plants typically consist of the following: fuel storage and handling equipment, biomass combustion furnaces, boilers, emissions abatement and turbine/generators.  The cogeneration plants are also available with extraction steam for process users, such as lumber dry kilns, heat exchangers, material conditioning or other processes.
